George Hall, 89, was last seen in his car in the Skipton Road area of Harrogate heading out of the town at around 8.30pm last night (Thursday).
North Yorkshire Police said on Friday morning: "Great news, missing George, 89 reported missing from Pateley Bridge last night has been found safe and well in the Skipton area.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
