Line up for Harrogate's Hyena Lounge Comedy Club

The next Hyena Lounge Comedy Club at Harrogate Theatre is being hailed as one of the best line-ups yet.

It includes Ivo Graham, Rob Rouse, Jayde Adams and Jason Cook to rip the roof off with laughter.

Ivo Graham started his comedy with a bang in 2009 at the age of 18 as he became the youngest ever winner of theo You Think You’re Funny award at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has since become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit.

A decade before Ivo had his breakthrough, Rob Rouse also won So You Think You’re Funny and has been a headliner at major venues on the comedy circuit ever since.

He is a veteran of several critically acclaimed Edinburgh Festival shows as well as three sold out national theatre tours, firmly establishing him as one of comedy’s most lively, amenable and dynamic performers.

Jayde Adams is a phenomenal talent who packs a room full of laughter with her stunning blend of side-splitting comedy and wit.

She won the Funny Women competition in 2014 along with the Audience Award at the London Cabaret Awards and went on to be nominated for Best Newcomer at both the Edinburgh Fringe and The Melbourne Comedy Festival.

She featured in Russell Howard’s BBC Two Christmas special A Gert Luch Christmas as well as Channel 5’s Borderline and Sky Atlantic’s Sick Note.

Hosting the show is the multi-award winning, Jason Cook who takes time out from his successful writing career to join in the fun.

His sitcom Hebburn was a smash-hit on BBC2, his comedy drama Murder On The Blackpool Express was the highest viewed show ever on the Dave channel and currently he is writing the Chris Ramsey Show for Comedy Central.

Behind his cheerful Geordie exterior lurks a sharp comedic mind capable of taking an audience close to the edge but always intriguing and blessed with the sort of charm that’ll have them laughing.

The club is at Harrogate Theatre on Saturday March 10 from 8pm.
