Monthly light lunches: will be back on the menu at the village hall from Saturday, March 9 when the team of village hall volunteers is set to offer their usual selection of tasty dishes at reasonable prices from noon. Adding to the atmosphere on the day will be the voices of Killinghalls own Village Choir. From 1pm, there will be the chance to find a bargain in the Killinghall WI jumble sale, which is being held in the adjoining, large hall. As on previous occasions, all the proceeds from the light lunches will be going to the Village Halls Heating Fund.

Monthly Quiz: three days after the light lunches the village hall will be hosting its usual monthly quiz. Now entering its 15th year, the event, which starts at 7.45pm, continues to offer a night of tantalizing fun for quiz fans who, for an entry fee of £3, get the chance to win a cash prize of £20.

Killinghall WI: the next meeting will be on Thursday, March 14 at 7.30pm in the village hall. Alison McCobe on cake decorating with an Easter theme. New members and guests are always welcome.
