Killinghall WI: the next meeting will be on Thursday, December 12 at 7.30pm in the village hall. The Golden Age of Music Hall and Variety. New members and guests are always welcome.

Christmas Tree Festival: at the church of St Thomas the Apostle, Killinghall. Friday, December 6 – Sunday, December 8. To raise funds for local and national charities: St Michael’s Hospice, Martin House Hospice, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Harrogate Homeless Project, The Royal British Legion and Yorkshire Cancer Research. Our week-end festival starts with a Friday Twilight Mulled Wine and Mince Pies at 6-8pm to view the trees. Admission £3. On Saturday there will be a Christmas Fayre at 11am-3pm (admission £2) and a Christmas Cracker Concert at 7pm with the White Rose concert Band and other local acts – tickets adults £6, children £3 available from Church Committee or 563241, 770377, 529817.

The weekend will finish with Carols by Tree Light at 3pm on Sunday, December 8 in St Thomas’ Church.
