Inquest opens into rider’s death

AN INQUEST into the death of a horse rider has opened in Knaresborough.

Robin Donaldson, 64, from Little Ribston, died in hospital after falling from his horse at Beckwithshaw Horse Trials in September last year.

The jury at the inquest is expected to return a verdict tomorrow (Tuesday) after two days of evidence.

The verdict will be published on the Advertiser website and the full report from the inquest will be published in Friday’s paper.
