Josh Falkingham 7. Free-kick delivery was excellent. He created multiple chances from set-pieces during what was a typically tenacious midfield display.

Jack Diamond 6. Looked capable of making something happen every time he touched the ball. Perhaps should have got his first Town goal, but failed to convert a rebound.

Jon Stead 8. Showed great alertness to latch on to Warren Burrell's pass and make it 2-0. Unlucky not to get a second with a late effort that struck the foot of a post.

Jack Muldoon 9. ADVERTISER STAR MAN. His first-half finish was pivitol to the win. Led the line well against a physical Chorley back-three, dropping deep to get on the ball and bringing others into play.
