It’s time to vote for your favourite Christmas pet! Reader response to the Harrogate Advertiser Series’ search for the district’s favourite pet has been fantastic, and we have received more than 100 entries.

The competition has been so popular that pet owners from as far afield as Pennsylvania, USA and even Sheffield, have taken part.

The Harrogate Advertiser Series, in association with Kendall’s Farm Butchers and JD Photography Studio, now invites you to take a look through our festive pets, and vote for your favourite. The pet that receives the most votes will be crowned the Harrogate Advertiser Series Christmas Pet of the Year.


Vote for your favourite pet

Text your vote before 12 noon on January 5, 2015 to 65550.

Simply start your text with the words:

HADPET, follow this with your name, contact number and email address.

Example - HADPET Jo Bloggs, 01723 888888 [email protected]

Text messages cost £1.50 in addition to your standard network charge and should contain no more that 160 characters


Fill in the coupon, available in this week’s Harrogate Advertiser Series of newspapers, and post it to: Harrogate Advertiser Series, 1, Cardale Park, Harrogate, HG3 1RZ. Deadline for entries - first post on Monday, January 5, 2015. You can vote as many times as you like, but you must use an official vote coupon (from the paper). Photocopied or defaced coupons will not be accepted.

Text lines close at 12 noon on 5th January 2015. Your text message must follow the exact format started otherwise you may still be charged. You can enter as many times as you like. If you text after the stated closing date your may still be charged.
