Hope Pastures' gallop to donation

Wetherby-based Franks Accountants have raised more than £4,000 for their partner charity Hope Pastures.

For each new client that Franks Accountants take on, the company gives £100 to their annual chosen charity which amounted to £4,000 in 2015.

Based in North Leeds, Hope Pastures rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes horses, ponies and donkeys, and the money donated by Franks Accountants has enabled them to continue their voluntary work with animals in need.

Kim Pengelly, Fundraising and PR Co-ordinator at Hope Pastures, said: “A massive thanks to Franks Accountants - this money has helped to finance our rescues throughout the year and has been invaluable. We’re truly grateful.’

Dedicated to making a difference to the local community, Franks Accountants select a different local charity to partner with each calendar year.

Following a viral Facebook competition last year, they announced their new partner for 2016: Our Angels.

Based in Harrogate, Our Angels is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting families through the heartbreak of losing a baby.
