Visitors to Harrogate will not be able to use the full service of the tourist information centre (TIC) after water has come through the ceiling.
Staff at the TIC are making minor repairs such as drying out the carpets after water has managed to come through the roof of the building.
The centre has been closed and is not forecast to re-open until Saturday.
Tourism manager at the Harrogate TIC, Helen Suckling said: "We have had some water come through the ceiling so we are having to dry the carpets out.
"We have a member of staff in the entrance area so people can still access information. We are open to give out maps and dispense information about what there is to see and do but we are not able to offer a full service at the moment.
"We hope to be open again by Saturday."
