Sponsored by Investec Wealth & Investment, among the gathering to hear speeches from the theatre’s chief executive, David Bown and Ann Cherry, chairman of Harrogate Theatre Supporters, was panto legend Tim Stedman, as well as other cast members, staff and crew.

Ellie Wadsworth, the theatre’s head of development & partnerships said: “We are delighted so many supporters have joined since the launch of our new membership scheme.”

"The birthday party seemed the perfect opportunity to thank and celebrate with our sponsors and supporters who bring so much energy and enthusiasm to Harrogate Theatre."

The supporters’ recent fundraising efforts have already born fruit in the form of a new hi-tech sound desk for theatre productions.
