He said: "People are calling it the “anthem for the new normal” but I’m just hoping people embrace that silly fool in them and just dance around and have a boogie, forget their worries for a little while.

"I did the single in collaboration with a producer in London, which I wrote the lyrics and melody for.

"It’s commenting on the world right now, how it’s all a bit mad and sometimes it’s good to just embrace the madness and let it all go.

"As artists I think it’s vital for us to keep going, talk about the times we are in, use our medium to connect and inspire others."

Christian worked with co-writer and producer David Wright, aka Melodology, on the new single Isolation Fool which was produced by Itay Kashti @ Blue Room Studios in London.

Having appeared in many local productions and concerts as a schoolboy, including at Harrogate Theatre, Christian graduated from The Guildford School of Acting with a first class class honours degree in Musical Theatre in 2014.

Christian said he was very lucky to have any work right now after securing a performing role on a Cruise ship between Oslo and Kiel in Germany.

Many of his friends in music and theatre had not been so lucky and he appealed to everyone to support the arts in any way they could during lockdown.

Christian said: "People need to continue to support theatre and artists during this time.

"If you wake up in the morning listen to a Spotify playlist, go for a run listen to your favorite album or even listen to the music.

"It's easy to forget the time and talent that goes into every second of that song. We need to keep supporting our artists."

Part of the 2Entertain Corporate Entertainment stable of talent, Christian also stars in the official video for the single which also features fellow performers Tove Westerlind, Jonathan David Dudley, Mattias Jakobsson, Gabriella Rhedin and Beth Organ.
