Harrogate shop announces closure

A Harrogate shop known for its nostalgic and retro feel is leaving the high street.

The shop has launched its closing down sale.

Ever since it opened, Retro Cave on Cheltenham Crescent has been a paradise for residents who are partial to a trip down memory lane.

Regulars to the shop know that a quick 10-minute browse can lead to uncovering all sorts of retro gems - including classic games consoles, video games and memorabilia from childhood TV shows.

Retro Cave's closing down sale has been announced in their public Facebook group. The page's admin team commented: "Things change. Times are hard. Time to move on to a new venture."

Harrogate residents have been quick to react to the news on social media. One shopper commented: "Real shame. Great shop and full of memories. Sorry to hear you're moving on."
