A Harrogate businesswoman has just launched a new Facebook group for small business owners where they can get advice and collaborate with other members.

Indie Biz Collective - Harrogate & Knaresborough has already attracted nearly 250 members.

And Lucy Barrow, director of Mix & Twist Bartending, is holding an Indie Biz Collective Workshop at The Black Mulberry cafe in Knaresborough on Tuesday, September 5 at 6pm.

The event will include a networking session and guest speakers giving advice on branding, social media and managing stress.

In more signs of joint action, Norse and Baltzersens Paul Rawlinson has used his latest blog The Cafe Guy to launch plans for Harrogate’s first Indie Harrogate Guide - with an accompanying website.

He is encouraging local indies to get involved in time for a publication date of March 2018.
