Harrogate DJ's live stream fundraiser for NHS's frontline heroes

A well-known Harrogate and Leeds DJ is live streaming a special live music event this week single-handedly to raise money for the frontline heroes of the NHS.

Striking the right note - NHS staff say thanks to Harrogate and Leeds club DJ Rickie Hurlstone in advance of his big live stream fundraiser this weekend.

Rickie Hurlstone, a big name in the Leeds clubbing scene and director of West Yorkshire’s Reach festival which is widely respected for supporting homegrown talent, aims to raise at least £5,000 for the NHS through a JustGiving page.

The RickieDH live event, which will take place this weekend with a potential audience reach of more than 800,000 on social media, will allow people to have a dance and engage with crowds all from home, while raising money for our front line workforce.

Taking place on April 10-11 at 7pm both nights, Rickie is part of a growing trend for music acts which would usually have been playing in bars and clubs take to put on their own live streaming events from home.

Keeping people connected, moving, entertained and happy is Rickie's message.
