Follifoot with Plompton Parish Council: will meet on Thursday, February 14 at 8pm in the village hall.

Follifoot School: the children are to be congratulated for their outstanding performance of the nativity play, The Landlord’s Cat. All the performers, even the younger ones, were very adept at singing, dancing and public speaking in front of well attended audiences. Some of the children’s comments: Tilly Hinchcliffe “I wasn’t nervous but I was a bit scared because I had a lot of words to say”. Hugo Sladdin “It was fun being the narrator. I was not nervous because I like speaking in front of people.” Eloise Abrahams “ I was nervous because I had to sing on my own.” The children also sang carols at the Kestrel and the diners commented very favourably on their singing and exceptional behaviour.
