Revellers threw fireworks at police officers in Harrogate while dealing with large crowds in the town on Halloween.
Almost 100 teenagers caused chaos on the Duchy Estate in Harrogate after a house party was advertised on Facebook.
North Yorkshire Police were called to Oakdale Glen in Harrogate at about 9.30pm on Saturday October 31 to reports of a large number of youths in the street, excessive noise and fireworks being thrown around.
On Twitter PC Amanda Hanush-Moore said: "Advertising your house party on Facebook doesn't seem the best of ideas especially when near on 100 so called 'mates' turn up and trash it.
"Sadly some residents of Harrogate will be waking up to an unholy mess this morning due to the 100 strong teenage revellers on their street. I just feel sorry for those residents who wake up to the mess left on their street this morning."
Harrogate Police tweeted to say officers had fireworks thrown at them while dispersing a large crowd in the town, but nobody was injured.
