This year’s St Wilfrid’s Procession is on Saturday, and visitors from across the country will get to experience our great tradition.

The hard-working St Wilfrid’s Procession committee are hoping for their biggest and best year yet. For the second year in a row, Laura Hodgson will take on the role of St Wilfrid, alongside her trusty horse Dougie.

The official after party for this year’s St Wilfrid’s Procession is Ripon’s newest summer music festival, Lodgefest. Lodgefest starts immediately after the procession on Saturday, running from 4.30pm to 9.30pm at South Lodge - and again on the Sunday, from 1pm to 5pm.

The line-up boasts a wide range of bands and singers, including a very special reunion performance from 1970s band Cocktails, performing together on-stage after 41 years.

The event is raising money for next year’s procession, and Ripon’s branch of the Royal British Legion.
