Students at Harrogate Ladies’ College are celebrating after they received their GCSE results.

The school has seen an increase in A*-C grades overall, with numerous girls achieving majority A and A* awards, resulting in 74 per cent of grades A*-B.

These achievements run alongside the diverse interests of the girls which include playing for the England Netball team and riding with the England eventing team.

HLC’s Principal, Mrs Sylvia Brett said: “I am thrilled to share the success of HLC’s GCSE girls and to learn the stories of their academic achievement which run alongside their personal triumphs in every arena from sport to charity work and significant personal development.

“HLC is an outstanding school where the values of compassion, creativity and service run alongside academic rigour and an absolute commitment to enabling each individual pupil to be the best that they can be.”
