Drivers escape unharmed from motorway smash
The drivers of three cars that were involved in a collision on the A1 on Tuesday evening have been confirmed as uninjured by the crash.
The incident took place just past junction 48 on the A1 M travelling southbound when a silver Vauxhall Astra, a blue Audi A3 and a silver Peugeot 307 collided.
North Yorkshire Police attended the scene at around 6.45pm on Tuesday July 21 and have confirmed that no drivers or passengers were injured.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
