Delays to rail services between Leeds and York continue after lightning strike

RAIL passengers between York and Leeds faced further delays today as work goes on to repair damage from a lightning strike.

Signalling problems caused by the strike, which happened at around 1.15pm yesterday, had meant no trains were able to run on the line between York, Harrogate and Leeds.
