The Royal Oak Quiz, Dacre Banks: the next quiz will be on Sunday, May 26. Start 8pm. To raise funds for Dacre Banks Playing Field Association. The quiz has a £2.50 entry fee per person, included is a pie and pea supper and several prizes. Preferably teams of no more than four but not enforced. It is advisable to ring Anna or Steve on 780200 and book a table. This helps with the catering, although not essential. Just come and have some fun, we will find you a space and it is for a local cause.

Dacre Banks Cricket Club: on Saturday, May 18 the 1st teamwill be at home to Blubberhouses.

Darley Cricket Club: on Saturday, May 18 the 2nd team will be at home to Boroughbridge.

Glasshouses & District Gardening Club: the next meeting will be held in Dacre & Hartwith village hall tonight, Thursday, May 16, at 7.45pm. The speaker will be Rebecca Wilson who will be speaking about composting with the North Yorkshire Rotters.
