Summerbridge Players: tickets going fast for Summerbridge Players Christmas Show Bad Day at Black Frog Creek. Hilarious pantomime style fun for all the family. Glasshouses & District Gardening Club: will meet tonight, Thursday, November 15. Mike Kinnes from Bishop Burton College will be talking on growing fruit in the garden – choosing varieties, pruning and generally how to get the best produce. The meeting will be in Dacre and Hartwith Village Hall at 7.45pm and non-members will be welcome to attend.

Christmas Floristry Workshop: nationally recognised florist, Susan Fairhurst is holding a Christmas Floristry Workshop at Kettlesing Millennium Village Hall on Saturday, December 1. You will have the opportunity to complete 3 different designs for your home to complement your Christmas decor. Tickets are priced at £20 each and will include morning coffee and lunch. Nidderdale Society: at the next meeting Suzanne Dunne will give a talk entitled 250 Years of Harewood House and the Lascelles Family. Monday, November 19 at 7.30pm at Dacre Banks Village Hall. Membership of the Nidderdale Society is open to all persons of all ages. The annual fee is currently £7 per person, the payment of which entitles the member to attend all presentation meetings; it also includes light refreshment. Anyone wishing to attend a one off meeting may do so for a payment of £2.

Women’s Christian Fellowship: the next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 20 at 2pm at Shalom, Main Road, Summerbridge when the speakers will be Cindy Beck of Darley. Tea and biscuits, conversation and fellowship. Anyone requiring a lift, contact Mary Dobson 780371.
