Would-be Harrogate burglar foiled after being spotted in the garden
A 30-year-old burglar was caught in the act after the residents spotted him in their garden on Rudbeck Drive on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the property on Rudbeck Drive at 6.40am after reports that a man had been spotted in the residents’ garden.
The 30-year-old male, of no fixed abode, was arrested shortly after and has been charged to court with burglary and criminal damage.
It is alleged that the male stole electrical goods and clothing as well as damaging the residents’ fencing.
