Video: CCTV footage of terrifying Harrogate antique store armed robbery

CCTV footage of the moment four masked robbers smashed their way into Montpellier Antiques on Monday, March 16, has been released.

Four robbers wearing balaclavas threatened staff and customers at Montpellier Antiques with an axe and a machete before making off with watches and jewellery.

Ryan Luke Stanley, 24, was jailed in connection with the crime in April and was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for robbery.

Stanley, with three other men, smashed his way into the store with a sledgehammer but North Yorkshire Police are still chasing the other four men involved with the crime.

The crime was featured on Monday, June 8 on BBC Crimewatch Roadshow with police urging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on 101.
