UPDATED: Man denies serious assault of Ripon teenager
A Ripon man has pleaded not guilty to wounding without intent at Harrogate Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 14.
Billie Steven Ajayi, 22, of Williamson Garden, Ripon, has been remanded in HMP Hull and will appear at York Crown Court on October 26.
The charge relates to the alleged serious assault of an 18-year-old from Ripon at Quarry Moor Lane in the early hours on Sunday, October 11.
The incident was reported to police on Monday, October 12, with officers securing the scene to carry out a full investigation.
The victim remains at Leeds General Infirmary in a critical condition.
