A lone schoolboy was kicked and punched by three robbers who targeted him as he crossed Harrogate’s Stray - only to find he had nothing worth stealing.
The 16-year-old was grabbed from behind by three men as he crossed the railway bridge on Stray Rein at 3.55pm on Monday afternoon.
One of them threw him to the floor where he was punched and kicked. They searched his pockets before making off empty handed.
