Police seek driver who failed to stop after hitting parked car

Police are appealing for information after a parked car was struck by another vehicle and the driver failed to stop on Cold Bath Road

The parked silver Mercedes Benz C class was reported to North Yorkshire Police as having been involved in a road traffic collision this morning at 11.30 am.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police (NYP) said: "The owner of the car heard a loud bang and went out to find it had been struck by another vehicle."

They added if anyone sees a sporty blue Mazda car that has damage to the front passenger side they should contact the police.
