A party which had "got out hand" had to be broken up by police on Saturday night after hundreds of teenagers arrived at the house.
Nearby residents were left dismayed when they saw hundreds of youths arrive at a party on Leeds Road at around 8pm on Saturday night.
Officers later attended the party after receiving a number of calls from distressed residents who said the youths were drinking and causing disruption.
Police said they were told by the organiser that the party had "got out of hand".
The youths were eventually dispersed by officers who seized a quantity of alcohol and gave the group "strong words of advice about their behaviour".
