Police appeal for witnesses after woman dies in collision near Ripley

A 40-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries after she fell from the camper van she was travelling in, police believe.

The white Fiat van was travelling on the B6165 towards Ripley from the direction of Pateley Bridge, shortly before the roundabout with the A61, at around 7.10pm on Sunday, June 28, when the collision occurred.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police is now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
