Pateley Bridge cyclist killed in road accident

A man cycling from Pateley Bridge to Grassington has been killed in a traffic collision, North Yorkshire Police has confirmed.

The incident happened at around 4.20pm yesterday, Wednesday, on the B6265 Hebden Road at Dibbles Bridge.

A 66-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the pedal cyclist prior to the incident.
