Man three-and-a-half times legal limit crashes Land Rover in Ripon
A 22-year-old man from Wath has been charged with drink driving after crashing his car on Saturday night.
North Yorkshire Police were called to the outskirts of Ripon after the man crashed his Land Rover into a telegraph pole.
The man was breathalysed by the officers and was found to be three-and-a-half times over the legal limit.
He will now appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court on June 25 after being arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
