Man hurt in Harrogate attack

A young man has been left with head and facial injuries after an unprovoked attack outside McDonald’s in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police say the 24-year-old, from Knaresborough, was punched to the ground outside the Cambridge Road restaurant at around 4.45am on Sunday, December 21.

He was left with a broken tooth and an injury to the back of his head and had to be taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
