Man to appear in court after Wetherspoons attack
A man is due to appear before Magistrates in Harrogate this morning facing criminal charges following an attack at a Harrogate pub beer garden.
The 44-year-old Harrogate man has been charged with actual bodily harm and grievious bodily harm without intent.
A 51-year-old Harrogate man was left with serious head inuries after an incident in the beer garden of Wetherspoons Royal Baths pub on Parliament Street, Harrogate at around 7.30pm on Saturday November 1.
A second man, a 43-year-old man from the York area also needed hospital treatment after suffering facial injuries.
Witnesses or anyone with information that could assist the investigation are urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Harrogate CID.
