The following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on April 30:

John Mark Christiansen, 37, of Flat 2, 3 Spa Lane, Starbeck, was made subject to a one-year community order with up to 20 days of rehabilitation work, treatment for drug dependency and a three-month ban from all retail premises in Starbeck High Street, for theft and criminal damage. Compensation of £230 and a £150 criminal courts charge were also imposed.

Andrew John Dobson, 51, of 3 Skipton Court, Skipton Road, Harrogate was made subject to a one-year community order with up to 15 days of rehabilitation work, probation supervision and 120 hours of unpaid work for drink-driving and dangerous driving. Costs of £85, a £60 victim surcharge and a two-year ban were also imposed.

Colin Morton, 48, of 67 Otley Road, Harrogate, was fined £1,450 with £85 costs, a £120 victim surcharge and an 18-month ban for drink-driving,

Cristian Henry Samson, 24, of 11 Parliament Street, Harrogate, was made subject to a one-year community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, up to 50 days of rehabilitation work and participation in a thinking skills programme for 19 sessions for fraud by false representation, driving while disqualified and making off without payment. There was no separate penalty for driving without insurance but costs of £85, a £60 victim surcharge, £422.57 compensation and a 20-month driving ban were also ordered.

Sharon Tinsley, 29, of 16 Quarry Moor Road, Ripon, had 10 days of rehabilitation work added to a community order made on March 10 after breaching its terms. Costs of £45 were also ordered.

Nigel Peter Townend, 53, of 9 St Mary’s Flats, St Marygate, Ripon, was conditionally discharged for nine months with £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge and a £15 victim surcharge for theft and failing to answer bail.

Oswald Peter Brown, 46, of 57 Cecil Street, Harrogate, was jailed for eight weeks with the sentence suspended for 18 months for harassment. The sentence will be consecutive to an 18-week suspended sentence imposed on March 12, the community requirement of which had been breached.

The following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on April 28:

Charles Alan Francis, 23, of 16 Sorrel Grove, Harrogate, was fined £135 with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge for possession of criminal property.

Jodie Taylor, 23, of Flat 3, 3 Clint Bank, Ripley, was conditionally discharged for six months with £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge for assault by beating.

Szymon Jan Siemiatkowski, 23, of 22 St John’s Drive, Harrogate, was fined £210 with £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge for behaviour provoking fear of violence being used. For offending while subject to a suspended prison sentence imposed on December 31 for drink-driving and taking a vehicle without consent, the terms of the order were varied to prison for eight weeks suspended for a year with an extra 40 hours of unpaid work, making a total of 240.

Charlotte Hannah Ward, 23, of 50 Pannal Ash Drive, Harrogate, was made subject to a one-year community order with up to 30 days of rehabilitation activity and treatment for alcohol dependency for assault by beating. She was also fined £110 with costs of £85, a £60 victim surcharge and £200 compensation.

Lee Farrell, 46, of 8 Swarcliffe Road, Harrogate, was fined £400 with £85 costs, a £40 victim surcharge and a 12-month ban for drink-driving

The following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on April 21:

Christopher James Morrisey, 46, of Flat 1, 1 Spring Grove, Harrogate, was fined £1,000 with £85 costs, a £100 victim surcharge and an 18-month ban for drink-driving.

Samantha Kate Mowbray, 49, of 1 Church Street, Kirkby Malzeard, was fined £110 with £85 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and a 17-month ban for failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.

Emma Victoria Williamson, 45, of Longmead, Langthorpe, Boroughbridge, was made subject to a one-year community order with participation in a drink-impaired drivers’ programme and 80 hours of unpaid work for drink-driving. Costs of £85, a £60 victim surcharge and a two-year ban were also imposed.

Brendan Charles Minahan, 44, of 17 Oak Road, Ripon, was made subject to a one-year community order with 120 hours of unpaid work and participation in a building better relationships programme for 28 days for assault by beating and criminal damage. Costs of £85 and a £60 victim surcharge were also levied.

Adam James Stephenson, 32, of 5 Camwal Terrace, Harrogate, was made subject to a two-year community order with probation supervision, participation in a building better relationships programme and treatment for alcohol dependency for assault. A fine of £100, costs of £100 and a £60 victim surcharge were also imposed.

Donna Marie Cooper, 40, of 30 Fairfax Avenue, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for a year with £85 costs, a £15 victim surcharge and £2.24 compensation for theft.

Brian Stanley Gregory, 32, of the same address was conditionally discharged for a year with £85 costs, a £15 victim surcharge and £7 compensation for theft.
