A Knaresborough teenager, who was reported missing by her family, has returned home safely following an early morning search by the police helicopter.
The 16-year-old girl was reported missing to police at around 12.30am today (Tuesday) with her family warning they were concerned for her safety.
Police officers, the dog section and the police helicopter performed an extensive search of the area, including around Conyngham Hall and near the River Nidd.
The girl was then seen on CCTV at around 1.30am before police found her an hour later walking back towards her house.
Police have said the teenager is safe and is receiving support.
