Jewellery stolen in Knaresborough burglary

Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery was stolen in a raid on a Knaresborough home.

Sometime between 9.30am and 3.45pm on Tuesday March 3, a property in Abbey Mill Gardens was targeted and a large amount of jewellery taken.

Much of the jewellery is of great sentimental value.

The stolen items include; gold necklace with 0.65 carets diamond solitaire, a gold and diamond engagement ring, two diamond solitaire rings, a ruby and diamond ring, a gold wedding ring which had been cut and three gold chain bracelets.

Detectives from Harrogate CID are investigating the burglary and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
