Police in Harrogate are appealing for information about the following crimes which have been reported in the district in recent days;
l Burglars damaged the door of a house on Lynton Gardens as they tried to enter the property. It was reported to police on Sunday, January 18.
l Overnight between Sunday, January 18 and Monday 19, a windscreen wiper was snapped off a car parked on Gascoigne Crescent.
l A house on Fulwith Mill Lane had its windows broken between Monday, January 19 and Tuesday, January 20.
l A car parked on The Avenue on Monday, January 19 had its rear window broken by a ball bearing at 8.20pm.
l A bike was stolen from the communal hallway of flats on Mayfield Grove on Tuesday, January 20.
l A shed on Torrs Road was broken into by unscrewing the hinges on Wednesday, January 21. A bike was stolen.
l The window of a shop on Albany Road was smashed on Thursday, January 22.
l Two sat nat systems and a statue were stolen from an unsecured car parked on Arncliffe Road at 4.15am on Friday, January 23.
l Pickpockets struck at the Victoria Shopping Centre on Friday, January 23, stealing a mobile phone from someone’s pocket.
l A van parked on Pendragon Way between Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 had its windscreen cracked.
l A butchers shop in Boroughbridge was targeted by burglars at around midday on Sunday, January 25. Police say the offenders forced entry to J&L Meats, on St James Square, causing damage and stealing meat products from within.
“We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident,” said a spokesman. “In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious activity around this location.”
