Four men to stand jury trial over December GBH allegation

Four men will stand trial by jury on an allegation of causing grievous bodily harm in an attack which has left a Sherburn man in a critical condition since December 27.

Lee Cormack, 34, Aaron George Pinkerton, 26, both from Sherburn, Ross Michael Nicholson, 28, from Micklefield, and Gareth Stephen Roberts, 29, from Biggin, all deny GBH.

They appeared at York Crown Court on Friday when their case was adjourned for a trial on July 11.

The Crown Prosecution Service said an attack took place in Duffield Crescent, Sherburn, on December 27 last year.

The 27-year-old man remains in a critical condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.
