Family spot naked man committing 'lewd act' in Knaresborough

A family walking through the grounds of Mother Shipton's Cave in Knaresborough have witnessed a naked man comitting a 'lewd act'.

The man was on a hill and disappeared into the bushes upon being seen.

It happened at just after 4pm yesterday, Wednesday, August 12.

The man is described as white, aged in his 60s, around 6ft tall, of slim build, and possibly had grey hair.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information following the incident in Knaresborough.

North Yorkshire Police is now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could assist the investigation, to contact them.
