Elderly woman robbed and pushed to the floor in Harrogate town centre

The woman in her seventies had been using the cash machine outside Santander on Cambridge Road yesterday, Wednesday, at around 5.50pm, when a man reached over and snatched her money, before pushing her to the ground and running off.

Police are requesting the public’s help in establishing the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Officer are particularly looking to hear from anyone who witnessed a man in a blue jacket running away from the area at this time, or hanging about the area leading up to the incident. Police would also like to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage.
