Crime file with Harrogate Police

Police in the Harrogate district are appealing for information and witnesses to the following crimes which have been reported in the area in recent days:

l A car bonnet was damaged whilst parked on Stonefall Avenue around 7pm on April 24.

l Overnight between April 21 and 22 a building was broken into and keys taken to two vehicles which were then stolen at a property on Camwall Road.

l During the late afternoon on April 21 a burglary occurred at a house on Kirkham Road. A local youth was later arrested.

l Overnight between April 20 and 21 a shed was broken into at a property on Granby Road. A strimmer and lawnmower were taken .

l At 3am on the April 23 a window was broken to a house on Norwich Drive.

l Overnight between April 23 and 24th two cycles were stolen from a property on East Parade. One is a blue coloured Tempest make cycle and the other a black and green TRX make.

l Sometime overnight between April 23 and 24 a car was scratched whilst parked on Albert Road.

l Between April 24 and 25 a garage was entered at a property in Beckwithshaw. No property was stolen.

l At approximately 5.15pm on April 25 an object was thrown at a car being driven on Arthur’s Avenue smashing the window.

l Between 9am and 7pm on Apr 19 a white BMX push bike with stunt pegs was stolen from a secure private rear garden on Stonefall Avenue.

l Between 3pm on April 18 and 12.30pm on April 19 a car parked on Royal Parade was damaged by having its windscreen smashed. Police believe the offender most likely jumped on the bonnet and kicked the windscreen.
