Police in Harrogate are appealing for information about the following incidents which have been reported in the past week:

l Two men were disturbed entering a property at Craven Street at 10.15pm on Monday, March 18. They stole a bag and its contents.

l Two thieves were disturbed at a house on Beckwith Road at 3am on Sunday morning, March 24. They stole a purse and keys.

l A Stihl saw and leaf blower were stolen from a vehicle parked on Warwick Crescent at 1.30pm last Wednesday, March 20. A Stihl hedge cutter left nearby was also stolen.

l Graffiti was left on the wall in Montpellier Parade last Wednesday night. The letters ELBE were written on the wall along with a picture of a devil.

l A rear window of a car parked on Wayside Crescent was smashed on Friday, March 22.

l A pair of trainers, along with two pairs of boots, were stolen from the doorway of a house in Cornflower Way some time on March 22.

l A silver KK Concept mountain bike was stolen from Oxford Street between last Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23.

l Anyone with information about any of the above is asked to call police on 101.

Police have advised householders to ensure doors and windows are kept locked, adding that vehicle owners should take care to ensure that cars are locked and expensive items are not left on display.

Residents are invited to attend upcoming police events with any concerns. PC Walker will be at the Thirst coffee morning at the Dene Park Community Centre on April 3 from 10am.PC Greenwood and PCSO Emsley will be at the Kennion Road Housing Association from 10am to 11.30am on April 4.
