CCTV: Fraudsters splash £10,000 on designer clothes in Harrogate

Police are hunting four men who spent £10,000 on stolen or cloned credit cards at a Harrogate shop.

Four men made 19 transactions with seven different cards, spending a total of £9,976.50, at The House on Cheltenham Crescent.

They bought men’s designer clothes and shoes, asking for different sizes of items from throughout the shop. The transactions were later found to be fraudulent.

The transactions took place at about 3pm on May 19.

A police spokesperson said: "Despite extensive forensic enquiries, the men involved have not yet been identified. Anyone who recognises the men pictured in the CCTV images is therefore asked to contact the police."
