Appeal after knife incident at services

It happened at around 8.30pm on November 5 when a man entered the service station and produced a large knife in front of staff at the fast food counter.

North Yorkshire Police said an arrest has since been made and a man has been released pending further enquiries.

“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident,” said a force spokesman.

“In particular, we are appealing for information from those who were present at MOTO Services at the time and witnessed the incident.”
