Outside of the UK, the charity is developing a project in Peru to set up a new crafts centre to provide training and employment for adults with disabilities living in poverty.

Craft Aid International is at the Knitting and Stitching show which opens on November 24 at the Harrogate International Centre, and closes on November 27.

Participants from the Harrogate craft sessions will be helping behind the counter and working on their stand, teaching people how to make pom-poms using a special gadget as well as selling hand-made crafts.

The Harrogate craft sessions run on Thursdays from 1pm - 3pm at St. Andrew’s Church in Starbeck. Contact Susie Hart on 01423 202734 for more information.
