Countryside theme for show

The event, at the Harrogate village’s Social Hall, will host a variety of fun events taking the theme.

Among the children’s classes, which can be entered on the day, will be miniature countryside on a plate, decorated welly, and heaviest living slug (weighed on the day).

There will also be a pet show, open to owners aged 16 and under, sports and family barbeque with rounders match..

The hall will be open from noon onwards for staging exhibits. Doors will close for judging at 1.30pm. Entry is £1.50 adults and 75p children.
