Tickets are on sale for a charity fashion extravaganza to be held at the Royal Hall.
Building on the tremendous success of the Cancer Charity Fashion Extravaganza held in October 2009, a group of local women from around Harrogate and Ripon who have first-hand experience of breast cancer have decided to hold a second event.
Autumn and winter collections for 2011-12 will be modelled by men and women who have previously battled cancer.
More than 800 people are expected to attend this evening of style, elegance, glamour, music and entertainment, which takes place on Sunday, October 30.
The show will feature day wear, evening wear and formal and casual clothing, along with wedding attire and children’s clothes.
The range will be selected from both exclusive fashion houses and famous high street names, including Marks & Spencer, Valtiari, Snooty Frox, Ragdoll, Sudo Attire, Harrogate Brides, Yorkshire Menswear, Major Minor, Giraffe, LK Bennett, M & Co, Eileen Yatron and Georgies.
The Mayor of Harrogate, Coun Les Ellington, is supporting the charity fashion extravaganza. He said: “I am delighted to help promote such a marvellous event which raises money through what promises to be a very enjoyable evening.”
Tickets are available from the HIC Box Office on Kings Road from Monday to Saturday, 10am-5pm, by phoning 0845 1308840 or visiting www.harrogateboxoffice.co.uk. To sponsor the event contact Jane Money at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 07795 293368.
