Rebrand for courier firm that’s going places

A growing company has rebranded to reflect the nationwide service it now offers.

Harrogate Courier Services has changed its name and branding to Business Couriers after seeing its client base gradually expand beyond the local area.

Founded by Malcolm White in December 2006 and based at the Harrogate Business Centre, the company offers courier and light haulage services to both local and national businesses. It specialises in same and next day deliveries and works for a wide range of SMEs and PLCs, including Sky Sports, with whom the company has worked for five seasons.

Malcolm, who has 30 years’ industry experience, said: “We began with one very old Ford Escort serving just a few local customers. Today we have a range of vehicles of our own and a UK network of dedicated vehicles and partners.”

He said the company had held on to the majority of its business despite recent difficult trading conditions, alongside attracting new companies at the rate of two or three a week. “We have developed a relatively unique way of working, with not only the highest standard of customer service but providing ‘tailored delivery solutions’ rather than just a ‘price list’ approach. We feel passionate about doing the right things and never letting our standards drop.”
