Business awards: ‘make entry priority’ businesses urged

Business owners are being urged to make entering the Harrogate Advertiser Excellence in Business Awards a priority before they get snowed under by other demands this month.

The awards, which are now in their 15th year, are open to companies based in any of the circulation areas of the Harrogate Advertiser series, which includes the Harrogate Advertiser, Wetherby News, Knaresborough Post, Ripon Gazette and Nidderdale Herald.

Series editor Jean MacQuarrie said: “We looking for those stand-out companies that provoke admiration and inspire others to match their high standards.

“We’re urging businesses across the area to enter these awards and win the recognition they deserve.”

Businesses may enter as many categories as they like, via the dedicated awards website at www.harrogatebusinessawards.co.uk.

The winners will be revealed at a black-tie awards ceremony hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration MBE at Pavilions of Harrogate on Thursday, April 2.

The deadline for entries is midday on Friday, February 28.
