The awards, which are sponsored by Harrogate estate agent Verity Frearson, are open to companies based in the circulation areas of the Harrogate Advertiser series, encompassing the whole Harrogate District – including Knaresborough, Ripon, Masham, Boroughbridge, Nidderdale and the Vale of York – plus Wetherby, Tadcaster and villages east of Leeds.

The closing date for entries is midday on Friday, February 28. To enter, just go to and click on ‘Nominate’.

Advertiser series editor Jean MacQuarrie said: “Even in tough trading conditions some businesses still find ways to thrive, and we’re looking for those success stories.

“I would urge any business to enter as many categories as they like – and see if 2020 is their year. Get your entry in before Christmas and you can take a well-earned break.”

The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on April 2, to be held once again at the Pavilions of Harrogate.
